Gents Rolex Submariner in stainless steel Ref# 168000. On the original stainless steel Oyster bracelet with a stainless steel flip-lock deployant buckle. Rotating bezel with a black aluminum insert. The case diameter is 40 mm. Self-winding movement with date. Black dial with applied, framed, luminescent-filled hour markers and luminescent-filled hands. This watch is circa 1986. The Ref# 168000 was produced in very small numbers between the Ref# 16800 and the Ref#16610. The case bears the reference 168000. This reference does not appear in any Rolex literature and is somewhat of a “Ghost” watch, and highly regarded by watch aficionados and collectors.
